The city of Marion has hired an outside firm to help with much needed pothole repairs. Probably not a bad idea, but it is my understanding that our City Fathers did not make a provision that these employees would be local ones. We have many unemployed people in this town that would love to have the extra money, even if only on a temporary basis. Think folks!
